WILLING TO WORK!

I have been involved in the Cat Fancy and CFA since 1975. Cats....loving, breeding,
showing and judging....have been a major part of my life for the past 35 years. As I
am sure you know, the economy and restrictive legislation--resulting in a steady
decline in registrations--have taken a toll on our shows, clubs and CFA itself. We
all need to pull together to get through these difficult times. I can't expect everyone
else to step up without being willing to step up and do what I can to keep CFA
strong! We need effective financial oversight and solid short-term and long-term
financial and operational plans. We need easily-understandable and timely financial
information disseminated to our member clubs. Transparency is key! CFA needs
to continue to expand and grow in all parts of the world. We need to harness the
talent within the ranks of CFA to create new programs to generate revenue while
maintaining and growing our current revenue streams. I am willing to work to make these goals a reality.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

I received a Masters Degree and BBA (Accounting) from The University of Texas at Austin and am a
Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Texas. I have almost 20 years of progressively
responsible Accounting/Finance experience starting in Public Accounting and culminating as Controller
for a Fortune 500 multinational corporation. My financial experience also includes four years as
Senior Finance Manager for a not-for-profit research corporation. My experience includes (but is not
limited to) the following:

                                   CAT FANCY EXPERIENCE

I have bred and exhibited a number of shorthair and longhair breeds over the past 35 years. I am a member
of the Abyssinian, Chartreux, Exotic, Persian and Somali breed councils and am the Exotic Breed Council
Secretary. I continue to breed and exhibit Exotics and Chartreux. I am Secretary/Treasurer of
Emerald Coast Cat Fanciers, Inc. and a long-time member and Director of The Eyes of Texas Cat Club, Inc.
I am a Judging Program File Administrator and have enjoyed being a CFA Judge since 2001.
